How do baking biscuits ever be quick? You normally have to acquire a scale, then carefully measure out all the ingredients, caress the dough to ages, then cut out little cookies in to heart, star and moon shapes then wait another century'til they're baked.

NEVER EVER would I bake biscuits under these conditions. That's just not how I roll. But after that I came across those Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that's what I call them, anyway.)

However, what mostly convinced me was that you could have them ready in 25 minutes such as the baking time! No shit.

Probably the most astonishing thing about the cookies is they involve only two ingredients! Yep that's correct, and anyone can blend two components.

Though if you would like to make them even tastier and/or healthier you can pimp them up with a few add ons such as peppers, walnuts or cinnamon. That is up to you!

It sounds more and more like a sales pitch (it's not -- nobody's gont cover me if you eat them), but I have to mention yet another awesome thing about those cookies.

They're tasty! Yep, once I had had the very first I finished the rest inside an hour.

They are great for hiking trips or other events where you need a quick energizing snack on the move. Nowadays I keep them as a quick bite in my backpack.

It also has to be noted they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, none of the regular cookie supposes. Just oats and peanuts.

First I wanted to call them"Fitness Cookies" -- cause I feel these would be the only really healthful snacks that have been produced by humanity.

Take oats such as. Not merely do they decrease your cholesterol levels which consequently will help you prevent developing heart disease or diabetes, but they also energize you with good carbohydrates and nutrients to keep you going for more during the day.

Those nutrients include manganese, good for bone creation and skin integrity as well as magnesium -- essential for energy production to make you feel more awake

Same with peanuts -- the favourite fruit one of athletes -- not just cause they contain an adequate quantity of good carbohydrates but also for being the big players at the potassium video game.

Potassium is a very important nutrient for avoiding fatigue and muscle cramps. Pretty good if you've got a challenging day before you.

Because you can see, I am a big fan.

Have you ever been stuck somewhere in nature and thought"damn I am in trouble!" ? If so, where? Just mix peas and peas and bake them for 15 minutes. Perfect for when you will need an energy boost on the go. Enjoy!


Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F)

Get a bowl and mash the carrots until they're mushy

Insert the cup of yogurt and some of the optional ingredients

Stir until everything is well mixed

Put baking paper on the tray so the cookies don't stick. If you do not have this make sure to grease the baking dish with butter (or olive oil if you are vegetarian )

To produce the cookie shape just grab a spoon and garnish an adequate sum from the mixture onto the baking tray like I did at the photograph above. It is super quick and effortless.

Away it goes into the oven for approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

EQUIPMENT: you only require a solid baking tray and some parchment paper, trendy also.
